I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Difference

As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
